activities planned for CTC

hello friends,

this is the list of activities we've planned for our CTC.

1. Invite pioneers from the field to give guest lectures and enlighten us on the latest developments in the field of civil engineering.
2. Students who have done in-plant training in the summer can brief the others on the site experiences with the aid of photos and videos.
3. Plan periodical one day visits and gain on site experiences.
4. Hold competitions regularly to make students more involved in the engineering.
5. Students can also update others on the new technologies or practices in the form of seminars.
6. Try our hand at making projects which can be displayed when we conduct seminars and symposiums.
7. Interact with alumni and ask them to share their experiences on entering the industrial world.
8. Preparing ourselves for the placements for the technical and aptitude parts with the aid of the teachers.

NOTE:-

(1) The civil techno club would meet regularly. the timings will be decided after meeting each years representatives.
(2) In case of guest lectures the meeting maybe scheduled on any time of the week depending on the guest lecturer’s comfort. in case of working hours all the teachers would be informed and permission would be got before hand.
(3) After every meeting we would be preparing a “minutes of the meeting” for references and hand over a copy to our teachers too.
(5) The overall duties of conducting various activities will be divided into departments with 1 student (or 2 as the case may be) coordinating the entire activities. we expect students from all years to come forward and take up responsibilities.

thanks :)
